Is the moss living?
No, we use high quality preserved moss. It was once alive but not any longer.
Does it need care?
We recommend occasional dusting, and every year or two a glycerin application to help restore hydration.
Will it’s appearance change over time?
Depending on light exposure, and direction of air vents, the moss can become crispy and the color fade. We can provide a glycerin treatment, along with a color enhancement to restore to it’s initial look.
Does it smell?
Upon initial installation a slight smell will be present. We recommend having a well-ventilated area, or air purifier in the space until the smell dissipates.
